CEO And Founder
Gabby is 14 years old and attends a middle school in Danville. From a young age, Gabby had always loved to volunteer. When she was 7, she used to wake up early to help her grandma at a food bank, and since then she volunteers as much as she can including, volunteering weekly at the EBSPCA .
Around the time she was 12, she realized not everyone got to celebrate their birthdays and Holidays the way her and her friends could. She knew she wanted to help. Originally her idea was to build houses for the homeless, but realized there was nonprofits that already did this. She then thought about how she can make all kids and teens feel special and important on their special days. In 8th grade, she decided to make this dream become a reality and created ‘A Reason to Celebrate’. The process was hard, making mistakes and asking for little to no help from her parents, but in the end she did it.
Not only does Gabby enjoy working on her nonprofit whenever she can, but she also enjoys playing soccer and doing art. When she grows up, she wants to be a meteorologist. Gabby knows it will take time to build A Reason to Celebrate, but her goal is to reach as many teens and kids in the Bay Area as possible!
